December is a busy month for Ritchie Bros. auctioneers.
The end of the calendar year is typically a busy month for Ritchie Bros., as companies across North America and around the world realign and reinvest in their fleets before year-end. This year is no different, with more than 35 auction events and tens of thousands of items to be sold in just three weeks.
Tens of thousands of items to sell via live auction, IronPlanet online events and Marketplace-E.
Equipment highlights selling in December include more than 3,000 truck tractors, 1,600 excavators, 1,400 compactors, 800 loaders, 800 skid steers, 400 dozers, 300+ cranes, 200 articulated dump trucks, 650 agricultural tractors, 2,000 aerial work platforms, 850 dump trucks and 10,000 military surplus items.
“With dozens of live and online events scheduled across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, as well our Marketplace-E solution where quality equipment is listed and sold daily, we will certainly have something for everyone this December,” said Ravi Saligram, CEO of Ritchie Bros.
“Later this week we will host our largest-ever GovPlanet military surplus ‘blowout’ event, with 10,000-plus items from the U.S. Department of Defense selling in two days; next week we will have huge multi-day events in Dubai, France, Fort Worth, and Edmonton; and the final week before Christmas we will have our IronPlanet end of year sale, which is always a great event.”
Ritchie Bros. will host multi-day live auctions in Italy (Dec. 4–5); Toronto (Dec. 4–5); The Netherlands (Dec. 6–7); Saskatoon (Dec. 6-7); Dubai (Dec. 11–12); France (Dec. 11 – 12); Fort Worth (Dec. 11– 2); Edmonton (Dec. 11–13); Los Angeles (Dec. 14–15); and Montreal (Dec. 17–18)
