WL250 joins Wacker Neuson’s wheel loader roster

Wacker Neuson’s new wheel loader is designed to provide a solid alternative to small skid steers. The manufacturer recently unveiled the WL250, the first in a new series of articulated wheel loaders.

The WL250 wheel loader features a 2,100 kg operating weight (with cab), a maximum tipping load of 1,640 kg and a hinge pin height of 2.5 metres.

Powered by a 25-hp three-cylinder Perkins engine, the new compact model is optimized for visibility and offers great ground clearance, as a result of the drive system design. The model number is also a new designation, which indicates the machine’s bucket volume of 0.27 cubic metres.

Offering clearance heights under 2 metres, even with a fixed canopy or ROPS, the WL250 provides easy access and manoeuvrability in restricted areas. The machine is able to achieve a reduced height thanks to the lower operator seat.

In addition, its low centre of gravity provides exceptional stability, making it ideal for handling heavy loads.

Equipped with a powerful and efficient hydraulic wheel hub drive, all four wheels are directly driven, delivering impressive acceleration, responsive driving dynamics and high thrust power.

The cab offers plenty of headroom and freedom of movement, as well as a wide view of the attachment, immediate working area and machine surroundings. This supports greater job site safety, as the operator has a clear view of the working environment. Controls are clearly arranged for an enhanced operator experience.

Attachments are easily interchangeable with a universal skid steer plate and hydraulic quick hitch system.
