Dynapac introduces new roller range

Dynapac new CC1100 CC1200 VI rollers

Dynapac designed its new CC1100/CC1200 VI rollers to meet the construction industry’s tough conditions while maintaining ideal compaction results.

A part of the sixth generation of Dynapac small asphalt rollers, the new machine has a unique design with a cross-mounted engine.

Improved visibility

By moving the water tank to the rear part of the machine, Dynapac has developed a unique design with a cross-mounted engine improving visibility over the drums. As well, the engine hood is designed for optimal view over the front drum. The sliding seat of 210 mm, in combination with the engine hood design, gives the operator the best sliding possibilities and visibility on the market. The ROPS-mounted working LED lights also enhance visibility during paving.

A mechanical adjustable off-set function is available on the new generation of asphalt rollers. By adjusting the rear frame to the left, off-set of the front drum is achieved up to 50 mm. Off-setting the front drum makes it easier to compact close to walls and curbs without risk of damaging the machine. The drums have tapered drum edges giving the compaction result a smooth surface without marks. The increased drum diameter ensures the asphalt is not shoveling in front of the drum creating transversal cracks.

The Dynapac machine features high-frequency compaction with the possibility to choose between dual frequencies depending on varying conditions and applications. An optional front right mounted edge presser and cutter is available, as well as an optional rear mounted chip spreader. The edge cutter and chip spreader are maneuvered with buttons in the forward/reverse lever.

The machine models are also available in a combi-version with four static rubber wheels at the rear.

Automatic water control

The water system is one of the most important systems on an asphalt roller. The design of the pressurized sprinkler system facilitates a smooth and reliable compaction with maximum uptime. The rollers are equipped with a sprinkler system and easily accessible sprinkler pump and filter, above the rear drum. Sprinkler bars include three sprinkler nozzles on each drum. Automatic Water Control (AWC) is standard on all machines. A three-stage filtration system ensures clean water and prevents clogged sprinkler nozzles. The sprinkler timer helps the operator in saving water by adjusting sprinkler intervals, which means reduced downtime for water-refilling. The water tank’s volume is as much as 205 litres.

Designing the new generation with the operator in mind has resulted in a comfortable and modern operator environment. The spacious and vibration-damped operator platform allows comfort even during long working days, thereby increasing the quality of the job. A new comfort seat is available with weight adjustment, armrests and optional seat-heating. The forward and reverse lever is follows the sliding seat for improved ergonomics and control.

The new instrument-panel, with keypad buttons and a display showing the most important functions, enables the driver to operate the roller in a controlled way. A small storage box under the seat as well as a cup holder on the operator platform facilitates drivers comfort.

Easy transportation

The design has resulted in flexible lifting, tie down and towing possibilities built into the casted forks thus enabling fast and easy transportation. An optional central lifting point is available, which makes the transportation between jobsites easier. The total machine length including the ROPS is 2,400 mm, which means the machines may be cross-loaded on a truck.

Interlock is standard on all machines ensuring no accidental starting. Failsafe brakes applies automatically if needed. As well, the separate parking brake switch on the instrument panel helps preventing accidental activation. The operator platform is lowered making it easy to enter the machine, this in combination with an ergonomic footstep and sturdy handgrips makes the machine safe to enter.
