Canada’s first, oldest and largest vintage construction equipment show and demonstration is returning to Minesing, Ontario.
HCEA Canada’s Wheels & Tracks is back at the Simcoe County Museum on June 13 and 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Located just outside of Barrie, Ontario, the museum grounds will host demonstrations in excavation, gravelling, grading and rolling performed using vintage machinery.
Attendees will have the opportunity to see a variety of historical construction equipment from century-old steam-powered shovels to vintage draglines and dozers.
The event is accessible thanks to a people-mover. As well, the grounds include a picnic area, concession stands and an on-site barbecue.
New this year, the Saturday show includes a parade at 3 p.m.
The Historical Construction Equipment Association (HCEA) Canada is a proud Heritage Partner of the Simcoe County Museum. Visit hceacanada.org for more information.
