Nortrax Canada has announced that Danny Fortier has joined the company to further develop their support and service for customers as general manager of the Sudbury, Ontario branch.
Fortier brings a wealth of experience within the heavy equipment industry. He most recently worked as a regional sales manager at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. Fortier also previously held a branch manager role in the greater Sudbury area for another heavy equipment dealership. He has a proven reputation leading branch operations and sales teams.
“Danny’s enthusiasm, passion, and experience will serve him well in this new role,” said Michael Rugeroni, Nortrax Canada vice president.
“His leadership, industry knowledge, and enthusiasm, along with his engineering background and winning attitude, will position him well to lead our Sudbury team.”
Originally from Northern Ontario, Fortier and his family will remain in the Sudbury area. He is excited to start this new position with Nortrax and looks forward to working with the team in Sudbury to build their already extensive product sales, rentals, technology and customer support of John Deere construction, forestry and roadbuilding equipment.
