On its route to becoming a Group with international operations, Liebherr began to establish new companies overseas in the 1970s. Liebherr-Canada Ltd. was founded in 1973 to facilitate sales, marketing and after sales of selected Liebherr products in Canada. Today, the company is primarily engaged in the following products: Earthmoving machines, material handling machines, mobile and crawler cranes, cargo handling cranes and mining trucks.
