Omega’s new scalper combines aggressive screening and transportability

Omega Crushing & Screening has unveiled its new SC4815 scalper, marking another milestone for the OEM’s growing equipment lineup.

The Omagh, Northern Ireland-based manufacturer debuted the SC4815 at Hillhead, showcasing the machine’s abilities across a wide range of applications, from quarry overburden and aggregates to construction and demolition waste recycling.

“The SC4815 represents the next stage in Omega’s growth and demonstrates our commitment to developing practical, high-performance equipment that meets the evolving needs of our customers,” the company said in a news release.

“Alongside the diesel-hydraulic machine, we are also offering a hybrid version, giving customers the opportunity to further reduce fuel consumption and operating costs without compromising on performance. We believe the SC4815 will become a valuable addition to operations across quarrying, recycling and construction applications worldwide.”

The new SC4815 is engineered to deliver high screening performance, productivity and maximum site flexibility. Featuring a 14.9-metre by 1.5-metre high-energy twin-deck screen box, the machine can process up to 450 tonnes per hour, making it ideal for demanding applications where throughput and efficiency are critical.

The SC4815 combines aggressive screening action with a compact, transport-friendly design to allow operators to move quickly between sites while maintaining production capability.

The SC4815 scalper features a crawler-mounted chassis and is powered by the Cat C3.6 engine to ensure reliable performance even in tough operating conditions.

The hybrid option will provide customers with greater flexibility, reduced fuel consumption and lower operating costs while supporting the industry’s increasing focus on sustainable and environmentally responsible operations.

Omega’s SC4815 scalper also features:

  • Hydraulically folding conveyors and walkways for rapid set-up.
  • Three-way material separation with high stockpiling capability.
  • Compact transport dimensions for easy movement between sites.
  • Robust tracked chassis designed for quarry and recycling environments.

Founded in 2019, Omega Crushing and Screening manufactures electric and low-emission crushing and screening equipment for the quarrying, mining and recycling industries.
