Canada’s heavy equipment community will once again converge at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, for the 2024 National Heavy Equipment Show (NHES).
Hosted by Master Promotions Ltd., NHES is a must-attend event featuring equipment for the roadbuilding, construction, snow removal, aggregate and infrastructure sectors.
This year’s event, held April 11-12, is promising to be bigger than ever before, as the show adds a fourth hall to accommodate demand from exhibitors.
“It’s hard to believe another edition of this incredible event is just around the corner,” said National Show Manager, Mark Cusack. “Exhibitors and visitors alike are sharing in our excitement to be back on the show floor.”
The Gravel Pit
Alongside the more than 250 companies exhibiting at NHES, the show also offers the opportunity to see the largest display of aggregate equipment via The Gravel Pit.
This show feature transforms Hall 3 into a spotlight on aggregate equipment to demonstrate the latest crushers, screeners, conveyors, scales, recyclers, haul trucks, hammers, drives and more.
OAPC seminar
This year, the Ontario Asphalt Pavement Council (OAPC) Spring Operations seminar joins NHES in the Pegasus Room at The International Centre on April 11.
The seminar brings together leaders in road building to discuss the latest technologies and best practices to prepare for the paving season.
Some of the event’s key sessions include Safety Culture and Practices in the Asphalt and Road Building Industry; OAPC 6th Environment Practices Guide; the 2024 MTO Bituminous Specifications Updates & Other Engineering Materials Office (EMO) Initiatives; Total Impact from Natural Gas Avoidance and Greenhouse Gas Emission Reductions in the Asphalt Industry; and the New Three-Dimensional Screed System and How it Affects Mat Density and Smoothness. All seminar attendees receive complimentary admission to NHES.
