Developed in collaboration with Dutch dealer Van den Heuvel , the machine is the first battery-powered telescopic crawler crane in the range.
Valuable market requirements from the progressive Dutch market were brought into the development partnership through the close contact of the sales partner Van den Heuvel with Dutch crane rental companies and construction companies.
Dual power management = maximum flexibility
Like the 817 Electro Battery cordless excavator, the 653 Electro Battery electric crane, which is equipped with a 210 kWh battery pack, can be operated both in pure battery mode and while being charged from the mains.
As soon as the machine is connected to the mains, the mains power is used for the lifting activities, while excess energy fed in recharges the batteries.
Zero emissions
The 653 Electro Battery is not only free of fossil fuels, but also works with less vibration and more quietly than its diesel-powered counterparts.
In addition to the positive CO2 footprint, the machine also has the advantage of lower service costs, since maintenance processes such as changing the engine oil are completely eliminated.
The world premiere of the 653 Electro Battery will take place at bauma 2022 in Munich.
