Prior to this acquisition, the Wain-Roy business was part of Oregon Tool, Inc.
Wain-Roy has a manufacturing location in Kronenwetter, Wisconsin that employs about 100 individuals. The majority of Wain-Roy’s customer-base is in the United States and, according to Epiroc, the manufacturer generates about SEK 200 million (CAD 25 million), annually.
“Wain-Roy is known for its high-quality products and competence,” says Helena Hedblom, Epiroc’s president and CEO. “This acquisition will strengthen our presence in the North American construction market and increase our capacity for manufacturing advanced attachments in that region.”
