Manulift EMI, the Canadian importer of Merlo telehandlers, has introduced the Panoramic 50.17, a machine that is exclusive to Canada.
The genetics of the Panoramic range date back as far back as 1987, when Merlo launched the first telehandler with a side engine.
The Panoramic range has evolved during this time with exclusive technological innovations and the use of dedicated materials.
The Panoramic 50.17 is equipped with a hydrostatic transmission to provide precision at the operator’s fingertips.
In fact, the entire Panoramic range is equipped with hydrostatic transmission. The 50.17 is equipped with the Eco Power Drive (EPD) electronic management that reduces the engine rpm where high power is not required. In addition, the dry disc brakes make it possible to limit the absorption of energy, thereby reducing the consumption of the machine.
The side shift system of the boom allows lateral movements of up to 50 cm without moving the machine.
A wide choice of attachments, specifically designed for Merlo telehandlers, and interfaced with the exclusive automatic recognition system, allows Panoramic 50.17 to operate in the most demanding of situations, thereby increasing its versatility.
The stabilizers, within the footprint of the machine, do not increase its size when in use, which allows the stabilization of the telehandler in any situation.

The levelling system allows correction of the lateral pitch up to 11 degrees in order to lift the load vertically. The automatic load management system – MCDC – is standard. In addition, FOPS – Level II – and ROPS certified cabs.
The new Level 2 FOPS and ROPS certified cab mounted on the silent-block reduces vibration and its generous size ensures maximum comfort and visibility for all operators. As well, the tac-lock system for the hydraulic clamping of attachments improves operating comfort.
