Bobcat introduces new articulating tractor

Bobcat articulating tractor

Bobcat has introduced the AT450 articulating tractor to its growing line of grounds maintenance equipment.

The new articulating tractor is ideal for snow removal, material handling and turf maintenance, and is an ideal solution for commercial properties, golf courses and sports facilities.

Whether it’s mowing or handling snow, the AT450 allows operators to tackle a wide range of projects in any season.

All season performance

The 753-kg articulating tractor is powered by a 32.5 hp liquid-cooled gasoline engine.

The AT450 powers a variety of front-mounted and belt-driven attachments. Thanks to the machine’s four-wheel drive, low centre of gravity and its ability to articulate and oscillate, operators get enhanced stability across various types of terrain and conditions.

The tractor’s articulating and oscillating frame keeps all four wheels in contact with the ground, which helps limit surface disturbance during turns. The AT450 can navigate slopes as steep as 30 degrees, with attachments following the ground contour for professional results in one pass.

As well, an integrated hydraulic weight transfer and traction boost system delivers consistent, on-demand weight transfer that’s fully adjustable from the operator’s control panel.

With the articulating tractor attachment system, operators have added versatility to put a host of attachments to work.

The current lineup of nine available attachments includes a bucket, AirFX mower decks (1.5 metre and 1.8 metre), BrushCat mower, Flex Deck mower, flail cutter, snowblower, V-blade and turbine blower. Bobcat plans to introduce additional attachments in the future.

The AT450 articulating tractor comes equipped with a standard front hitch system, which allows operators to switch out attachments quickly and conveniently without tools. The machine’s large, 26 litre fuel tank means fewer fuel stops so operators can maximize their time at work.

Skid plating along the underside of the frame helps protect components and enhance the articulating tractor’s durability for a long and dependable service life.

Service points and access to electric components are grouped under the hood for convenience. Operators also have unobstructed access to the battery, which is protected from outside elements in a compartment below the joystick.

As well, an easy-to-read system display allows the operator to monitor system voltage, engine temperature and other major machine functions. Standard LED lights provide visibility for operation in low light conditions.
