Blue Diamond Attachments is rounding out its family of roadwork attachments with the debut of its Extreme Duty Road Saws.
Designed for trenching asphalt, concrete and rock, the Extreme Duty Road Saws are available in two models offering 15 cm to 43 cm or 20 cm to 60 cm cutting depths.
The attachments include saw discs featuring interchangeable tooth plate kits with cutting widths from 5 cm to 20 cm, along with a hydraulic depth adjustment that allows the operator to raise and lower the blade for consistent cuts.
The road saws are intended for use with skid steers offering a maximum of 65 hp and operate at a recommended hydraulic flow of 79 to 159 litres per minute.
“The Extreme Duty Road Saws provide our customers with cleaner, faster and more accurate cuts than traditional methods, along with the flexibility and performance they can rely on for their tough trenching jobs,” said Drew Truan, chief executive officer at Blue Diamond Attachments.
“Together with our entire family of road work solutions, customers have attachments built to address multiple challenges in their roadwork applications.”
The Extreme Duty Road Saws include additional features to boost performance and provide consistent productivity.
A hydraulic side shift function of 0 to 45 cm allows for shifting the blade side-to-side from the cab. As well, a trench clearing scraper blade and material flow diverter work together to clear asphalt and debris from the trench, eliminating the need for manual removal.
Blue Diamond also equipped the saws with a depth gauge to provide uniform depth for cut control.
The universal skid steer mount makes the road saws compatible with different skid steer brands in the marketplace.
Blue Diamond’s family of roadwork attachments also includes a line of 12 hydraulic breakers and an Extreme Duty Series 2 Cold Planer.
