MB Crusher unveils 5 new demolition pulverizers

MB Crusher has entered a new product category with the introduction of its demolition pulverizer line up.

The five new attachments were unveiled at the MB Crusher booth at bauma in Munich. The Italian manufacturer began developing the lineup at the request of customer from around the world.

The pulverizers come in either single or double cylinder (MB-P and MB-PT) depending on the power of the carrier machine. All five versions feature 360-degree rotation to increase working range and an optimized lever system.

MB Crusher designed the pulverizers to be installed on different machines, such as excavators, backhoes and compact loaders, while keeping the weight-to-power ratio optimal.

The attachments adapt to the hydraulic characteristics of mid-size machines while ensuring performance in crushing reinforced concrete. As well, each attachment can be fitted with a crusher kit, pulverizer kit or a shear kit.

The demolition pulverizer lineup includes:

  • MB-P160 for backhoes (4 to 6 tonne) and excavators (1.5 to 3 tonne)
  • MB-P380 for excavators (3.5 to 7 tonne), backhoes (5 to 7 tonne) and compact loaders (3 to 10 tonne).
  • MB-PT650 for excavators (6.5 to 13 tonnes) and backhoes (6 to 10 tonnes).
  • MB-PT1150 for excavators (12 to 19 tonne).
  • MB-PT1650 (19 to 25 tonne).

Before unveiling the new lineup, MB Crusher conducted extensive testing, over several years, of the demolition pulverizers with the help of various clients.

The pulverizers abilities were successful in testing using poles, slicing through railway sleepers and the foundation of a warehouse.

To push the limits of the attachments, MB Crusher’s engineers also successfully testing the pulverizer’s bite strength and ability on tungsten rock — one of the hardest and heaviest materials available.

The demolition pulverizer line is designed to be used with other couplings from MB Crusher attachments. They require minimal maintenance aside from lubrication.
