The 50,000th compact loader has rolled off the assembly line at Yanmar Compact Equipment North America’s Grand Rapids, Minnesota manufacturing facility.
The 50,000th machine, a TL100 compact track loader, rolled off the production line in May 2026.
The milestone was celebrated during the company’s employee appreciation bbq and town hall, where commemorative decals were affixed to both the 50,000th and 50,001st machines during the celebration with the Grand Rapids production team.
“Reaching 50,000 units is more than a production milestone; it is a reflection of the strength of our people, the quality of our products and the investments we are making in North American manufacturing,” said Anna Christine Sgro, President of Yanmar Compact Equipment North America.
“With more than $60 million committed to Grand Rapids, we have the production foundation, technology and team to support our dealers, serve our customers and grow our position in the compact equipment market for years to come.”
Since acquiring ASV in 2019, Yanmar has invested more than $32 million in automation, innovation, manufacturing technology and facility improvements at the Grand Rapids facility. An additional $30 million is planned for the next five years to expand engineering capability, improve production capacity and support future product development.
The milestone comes as Yanmar Compact Equipment North America rolls out an accelerated product strategy.
At ConExpo, the company announced the One Yanmar initiative, which unifies its ASV and Yanmar compact track loader portfolios under the Yanmar brand.
The combined lineup creates one of the industry’s most versatile compact track loader lineups, offering both the ASV Posi-Track system or steel-embedded track systems undercarriage options, multiple frame sizes and solutions for construction, land management, landscaping, utilities, rental and agriculture.
