Expo Grands Travaux organizers say the show welcomed 12,813 qualified buyers to Olympic Stadium in Montreal in 2018.

Expo Grands Travaux, one of Eastern Canada’s largest heavy equipment trade shows, is moving to a new city.

Expo Grands Travaux, held every other year, is now planning for its all-new 2020 edition coming to Espace Saint-Hyacinthe in Quebec on May 1 and 2, 2020. In previous years, the show has been held in Montreal at the Olympic Stadium. Saint-Hyacinthe is about 65 km east of Montreal.

“After five successful editions in Montreal, we are proud to be planning the 2020 edition of Expo Grands Travaux in this exciting new location,” said Mark Cusack, national show manager.

“When considering venues that best suited the show, it was clear that Saint Hyacinthe would meet all the needs of exhibitors and visitors.”

As the largest venue of its kind outside of Quebec’s major cities, Espace Saint-Hyacinthe has many advantages. Some benefits of the new location include:

  • State-of-the-art venue in a central location.
  • More than 13,375 square metres of floor space.
  • Easy highway access and ample free parking.
  • Increased visitor reach, attracting attendees from Central & Northern Quebec.

The first Expo Grands Travaux was held in 2006. At the 2018 edition, nearly 13,000 people attended the show.

At the 2020 expo, visitors can plan to enjoy a full schedule of educational seminars, plus the all-new Demo zone to watch equipment live in action. Pre-registration will become available closer to the event.

Expo Grands Travaux is endorsed by the ACRGTQ (Association des constructeurs de routes et grands travaux du Québec), APMLQ (Association des propriétaires de machinerie lourde du Québec Inc), Bitume Québec, & Conseil des entreprises en technologies environmentales du Québec (CETEQ).

The show is organized by Master Promotions, which also produces Canada’s National Heavy Equipment Show, Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show, Atlantic Truck Show, Truxpo and the Canada North Resources Expo.

Created in 1973, Master Promotions is Canada’s largest independent trade and consumer event management company.
