This year’s World of Asphalt Show & Conference and the AGG1 Academy & Expo will offer attendees more than 15,794 square metres of exhibits, as well as a broader range of equipment, products and services than ever before.

Exhibit space has sold out for the event, which takes place at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston from March 6 to 8.

The more than 450 exhibitors, including 140 companies new to the shows, sets a record size for the two shows, collocated at the convention centre. The show will represent more than a dozen categories of products, including; heavy equipment, components and accessories, engines and powertrains, information technology, construction materials as well as electronics, controls and instrumentation.

“This will be the largest gathering of aggregates and asphalt industries suppliers in North America. But more than size, attendees tell us this is a can’t-miss quality event to interact with so many leading companies in one place to find business solutions,” said Tricia Mallett, AEM director of event services and technology and World of Asphalt show director.

Alongside exhibits, the combined conferences will offer more than 120 educational sessions. The shows offer industry professionals access to a wide variety of targeted education to meet the professional-development needs of new to seasoned employees.

“Education increases the value of the shows and are an investment in the future for attendees and their companies. Sessions are tailored to serious industry professionals looking for the latest industry knowledge,” said Pamala Bouchard, NSSGA vice president of membership & meetings and AGG1 show director.

Two industry conferences anchor the education portion of the show: People, Plants and Paving Conference from the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) and the AGG1 Academy from the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA).

The free show mobile app will be available for attendees to synchronize their itinerary to their mobile device to stay connected and make changes in real time.

The shows’ online exhibitor directory and show planner — with show map — is searchable by company name, companies that are new to the show, type of product, geographic location, and position on the show floor.
