Takeuchi loader

Takeuchi has launched a new compact track loader to its line up that is able to access and work in areas with limited space.

According to the company, the new TL6 is agile and easy to transport, while boasting advanced stability and performance. The machine is geared towards the agricultural, general contracting, landscaping and rental industries.

“We saw an opportunity to offer a track loader that would be easy to transport, feature compact dimensions, deliver excellent power and be capable of working in a wide range of applications,” said David Caldwell, national product manager at Takeuchi US. “The TL6 is a welcome addition to the growing and evolving Takeuchi lineup. It delivers outstanding features, unmatched performance, excellent serviceability and is an overall great value.”

The compact track loader is powered by a Kubota 2.4 liter, 65.2 hp engine. As well, the TL6 features a radial lift loader design with a maximum lift height of 2.9 metres, and a rated operating capacity of 835 kg. Furthermore, the TL6 has a width of 1.5 metres and a height of 2 metres.

New cabin design

The TL6 features a newly designed cabin with an overhead 15 cm colour multi-information display and backlit rocker switches that control a variety of machine functions. The cab is also equipped with a swing-out door, heat, and air conditioner. The CTL weighs 3,393 kg with a canopy or 3,528 kg when equipped with a cab.

Takeuchi Fleet Management (TFM) system is standard on the TL6. The TFM telematics system is available during the machine’s warranty period of two years at no additional cost. The system provides a variety of data points including machine health and condition, run time and machine location.

As well, it may help reduce downtime, control costs, perform remote diagnostics and schedule maintenance, according to the company.
