Firstgreen Industries debuts its Elise cabless electric skid-steer

The Firstgreen Elise cabless loader operates a breaker indoors.

Firstgreen Industries has introduced the Elise CBL (Clean Building Logistics), a remote-control operated electric, cabless skid steer.

The Elise CBL weighs 3,250 to 5,050 kg and integrates several technologies, including AI-powered analytics, IoT connectivity and an advanced materials database, to optimize the lifecycle of building materials and operations. The skid steer features a max load capacity of 1,200 kg.

“The new model will take indoor and underground excavation to a new level. With a fully remote-controlled, full-sized skid steer at your command, your on-site safety record, workload and time have been completely re-imagined,” said Ken Pederson, Sales Manager at Evolution Mechanical, the Canadian dealer for Firstgreen industries.

The cables machine enhances safety, making the equipment suitable for high-risk environments. By eliminating the need for an operator inside, the risk of injury or exposure to hazardous materials is reduced. The machine can be operated via a remote control or Apple/Android mobile app.

According to Firstgreen Industries, remote control technology allows for more accurate and refined movements, improving precision in tasks like excavation or material handling. Precision of the machines is also improved by four individual speeds the operator can select from for both hydraulic and travel functionalities.

These can be further modified by the operator. The absence of a cab also reduces the overall machine height and eliminates the necessity for FOPS/ROPS certification. This improves loading capacity and ensures a more balanced weight distribution with a lower centre of gravity to enhance stability.

Firstgreen MOP

Firstgreen Industries’ Material Optimization Processor (MOP) feature is at the heart of the Elise CBL, utilizing a comprehensive database of sustainable materials to recommend the most eco-friendly and cost-effective options for construction projects. It aims to minimize the environmental impact by optimizing resource use.

The Waste Diversion System (WDS) enhances the platform’s sustainability by managing construction waste. It identifies materials that can be reused or recycled, ensuring that waste is handled in the most environmentally responsible manner and reducing landfill contributions.
