The all-new E35 mini excavator is the latest addition to Bobcat’s R2-Series. Its debut took place at The Utility Expo this week.
The R2-Series E35 features low-effort joysticks and new hydraulic control valve, which Bobcat claims will provide superior machine control and ease.
Also, an integrated lift eye now comes standard on the bucket of this model—a feature that many customers outsource for when not included.
Additional features include arm-mounted auxiliary couplers and LED work lights. Bobcat mounts an LED light underneath the boom of the R2-Series E35, rather than on the side. Ultimately, this was done with the intention of protecting the light from damage, while also offering a smaller footprint when maneuvering the boom in tight areas.
Inside the cab, an optional 7-inch touch-screen display can act as a control panel. This system is Bluetooth compatible, which allows operators to make and take calls from the cab, hands-free. Also, a high-back, heated seat with a headrest is available as an optional add-on, for added comfort.
Finally, a clamp with diverter valve is available as an optional add-on. So, this allows operators to switch out attachments without disconnecting the clamp—turning the diverter valve allows you to divert the oil flow from clamp to attachment.
