Stellar Industries has introduced its new Stellar TMAX 1-11 welder body, which is ideal for mining and construction job sites.
The TMAX 1-11 welder body provides numerous features, including a 76-cm workbench-bumper, enhanced with a slide out tray.
The on-demand workstation is ready for torch cutting and welding. The tray’s removable support slates allow for blow-through to the ground, keeping the workspace clean, and the 75 mm V channel that run the length of the bumper enables easy clamping.
“As our customer’s needs evolve, we work to find solutions for them,” said Adam Opperman, Stellar Industries product manager. “With the addition of the TMAX 1-11 welder body, it provides operators another choice in customization to their service truck. Our new body allows for more payload, even with a larger welder and equipment, so customers can be productive.”
The TMAX 1-11 Welder is set up for any of the Stellar TC Series Cranes. TC series cranes by Stellar come equipped with the CDT Remote for easy operation and offers ultimate compactness to maximize bed space.
Consistent with all TMAX Series service bodies, the 1-11 welder body uses a stainless-steel billet style hinges, 3-point stainless steel compression latches and double spring over center door closures. All Stellar bodies are completely undercoated for additional protection from corrosion and painted with a two-part polyurethane enamel paint for added protection and visual appeal.
TMAX Low Cab Forward
Stellar Industries has also introduced the TMAX 2-14 aluminum low cab forward service truck. The TMAX Low Cab Forward (LCF) aluminum is the latest addition to the TMAX series, providing another option for service truck operators.
The TMAX 2-14 aluminum body coupled with a low cab chassis delivers unique operational advantages. The TMAX LCF provides users with a superior turn radius making it an ideal choice for urban and small working areas. As well, through the use of a larger body, operators won’t have to sacrifice storage space and lifting capacity.
The TMAX LCF Aluminum is ideal for a 44,840 to 77,800 foot-pound rated service cranes. It also features the crane carrying reliability of the Stellar Torq-Isolator torsion box understructure and crane compartment, which isolates the crane’s lifting forces into the stabilizers and chassis frame, not into the storage compartments to avoid twisting the body and doors.
The body side compartments are constructed of 3 mm high strength aluminum floors and walls, with double-panel aluminum doors featuring a bonded internal hat channel for ultimate strength, while still reducing overall weight.
“By adding the TMAX 2-14 aluminum LCF to our product offering, it allows customers flexibility in choosing the right combination of equipment to fit their requirements,” Opperman said.
The TMAX LCF Aluminum body also features the aluminum extrusion compartment top, standard on all Stellar TMAX aluminum series bodies. The extruded top is formed of high strength aluminum and features two built-in accessory mounting rails that eliminate the need to drill holes in the compartment tops to mount equipment.
The advent of the built-in accessory mounting rails simplifies mounting and relocating accessories. It also reduces the chance of water intrusion into the compartments. The extruded top incorporates wire harness channels inside the compartments for easy installation and to keep wires out of the way.
