Registration is now open for the first Canadian Concrete Expo (CCE).

The inaugural event, scheduled for Feb. 7 and 8 at the International Center in Toronto, will feature more than 250 companies in about 200,000 square feet of space.

The event is organized by 20/20 Show Productions Inc. and cosponsored by the Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association(CSDA).

The CDSA says the show is the only national trade show in Canada that’s specific to the concrete construction industry.

“Having a full-scale national show in Toronto dedicated to the Canadian concrete construction Industry will make CCE a cost-effective option for both exhibitors and attendees unable to travel to shows in the U.S. or abroad,” said CSDA executive director Patrick O’Brien. “We look forward to being part of this exciting new show.”

The show will feature site tours, product demonstrations, networking events and educational sessions focused on Canadian policies, standards, procedures, economy and environment.

Concrete expo attendees

Expo attendees will consist of contractors focused on concrete placement, finishing, flooring, sawing and drilling, restoration, repair, demolition and recycling, as well as general contractors involved with all types of concrete work. Furthermore, municipal, provincial and federal government representatives involved with procurement, engineering, construction and the maintenance of concrete structures will also be in attendance, according to the CSDA.

“CCE will be the only resource in Canada where you can source out new machinery and equipment from multiple manufacturers and dealers specific to your applications,” said Stuart Galloway, president of CCE show organizers 20/20 Show Productions, Inc. “Shop, talk, compare products and services with competitive suppliers. When multiple companies compete for business on the same show floor, the customer is in a great position.”

As a cosponsor, CSDA will offer free attendee registration. This allows professionals from the concrete cutting, polishing, GPR imaging and selective demolition industries can check out all the show has to offer.
